Vacation & Paid Time Off

They offered an awesome vacation and paid time off package

No vacation or sick time, it's all PTO. It's a decent amount after significant time in service, but many forfeit it because they are not allowed to use it at desired times, or have to work double before and after they use it.

21 days to start, no differentiation between sick/vacation time.

4 weeks at the start of employment

Its hard to get days off because they are always shorthanded.

6 weeks vacation after 8 years. Great opportunity to spread your time off for family events and drive your company car there if you want.

After 5 years of employment, you get 18 days of paid vacation

They offer time off, but you are frowned upon using it, and are very limited on the days they will allow you to use it. If someone else has the day off, you cannot request it off, and will have to call in sick to get said day off. Sick days are tracked and if you call out sick more than 3 days a year, you are penalized.

Mine didn't change yet since Labcorp took over. The more veteran employees lost 3 and 4 weeks.
