Job Training

It was done primarily with oversimplified and outdated computer tutorials, which made it so a great amount of the information was glossed over. This lead to miscommunications, and frustrations for both the photographer and assistant.

Training is great! They are willing to train you for pretty much any type of photography currently offered through them

It used to be a couple of days for retouch, and seeing's how you actually handle the customers' product first hand, and manipulate it, that was ok, it could have been more, but a couple days was acceptable. Now there isn't more than a few hours over a period of days spent with new employees in that department, and the quality of the work they submit as a result shows.

There are several different training sessions photographers must complete every year. Sometimes training is 2 days, sometimes training is 6 days. Never consistent.

My boss did a wonderful job training myself and my coworkers. There are seasonal meetings for each district which give a nice review of our duties and teach us new developments.

Job training was fine. They just don't tell you how it really is once your out there on the job. You learn more in the field and from experienced co-workers!

They do a great job of training photographers. They know this is a huge responsibility of the company to perform and make great photos for their clients. They pay for training at normal hourly rate.

They teach you how to photograph THEIR way, but after your two weeks of seeing your manager, you'll be lucky to see them again more than once in the season. Most of your training will be from other photographers when you get the chance to work with them (still kinda seldom)
