Lockheed Martin benefits

There is tuition assistance, but it's done by "paying you back" at the end of the semester (including submitting your grades), so if you don't have the ability to pay the tuition off at first, you're SOL (unless you get accepted into the ELDP "corporate climbers" program, where they will do the tuition assistance up front). Paternity leave is 40 hours, so one week. Vacation was 10 hours accrued per month, plus 40 hours of sick leave per year. Health insurance used to be better, from what I had heard, but is pretty crap now (course, that seems to be true everywhere).

Health insurance is adequate. 09/80 work schedule is a huge benefit. No overtime pay. 45hr standard pay week is a downer. Dental is horrible (doesn't cover most higher cost needs)

The benefits are comparable to most large companies.

The medical plan is well below industry average. Very similar to a "bronze plan"

Good benefits for all employees. The worst is that a portion of the medical bills have to be paid after services

Vacation policy increased under Lockheed for new hires to 3weeks! They are transitioning to a 9-80 work schedule in 2017.

Benefits are costly and deductables are too high.
