Its high, but who isn't these days. I wish this was better.

So happy to have this benefit take effect day 1 of employment! I was able to cut my health insurance costs by over 65% which is a huge savings in addition to my salary. Having Medical/Dental/Vision coverage is wonderful and the fact that Meijer contributes to my HSA is wonderful.

You are better off getting health insurance through the open market. They also have a very high copay.

The best thing about the Health insurance is that is good to have when you go to the doctor and you know that some of your doctor's bill is handled, the worst thing is that it doesn't pay a lot and you still have to come up with a fair amount of money for your procedure.

The health insurance at Meijer is better for full time employees than part time. However, many retail companies do not offer part time employees any health insurance so this is a nice benefit. My part time health insurance benefits were provided before the Affordable Care Act was in effect. Health insurance for part time employees might be handled differently now.
