You receive plenty of sick days as a full time employee, but are reprimanded when you use them. You are made to feel as though you are not allowed to call out if you or your child is sick.

My managers are very understanding when it comes to being sick, or having important family obligations to attend. Sometimes I am offered to come in and make up the hours I missed if I would like to, but it's not required.

Only full time employees get paid sick days. It would be nice if Michaels would give part timers paid sick time as well.
