While Neustar technically has a work from remote/home option, managers are able to apply it at their discretion. This sometimes led to unfair practices like letting one person work from remote full-time while others were deemed unworthy without any clear reasoning.

Benefits are (still) great. Every year they squeeze us for a little more in premiums as insurance prices increase, but they shoulder most of the increase. They keep fiddling with the fitness / health incentive, phasing it out in 2020. Mixed feelings there - it was easy to jump through the hoops, but also a bit of a hassle.

They had a comprehensive health care plan that included many things that other employers did not. Relatively low monthly fees and co-pays. The Sterling office has a cafeteria that offers great food at subsidized prices for employees. Also a gym in the building for a low fee. the HR group took benefits very seriously and always wanted to make sure the company was offering what would make employees happy.

One of the best benefits that Neustar has is it tuition payment program which is enough to cover all of the costs of most programs for at half time if not full. The rest of the benefits are good.

Great PTO (starts at 22 days). Flexibility. Health Insurance discounts. Free massages and yoga. Great 401k plan (if you put in 8% they put in 6%)
