Vacation & Paid Time Off

You get different amounts of vacation time depending on how long you work at viacom and how high up you are. There are no sick days just vacation days and you cannot cash them out when you leave unless you live in california. Most people just come to work sick because of the lack of sick days.

You get the whole Christmas week off in addition to the standard 2 weeks which is nice

Summer fridays and the expectation that people can use all of their PTO bank

You accrue time from paycheck to paycheck and the number of hours accrued grows the longer you're with the company.

Scheduling vacation time with my managers was always an uphill battle because the job often required working holidays and weekends. It would be nice for the managers to be a little more considerate when scheduling time off because content producers work such an abnormal schedule.

You start off with 10 days a year and over time you are eligible for additional days.

Excellent PTO time. You're able to use your days within the calendar year for whatever you need.
