Two weeks after one year and all of the common holidays off. When working for GM account, you have to use own personal time when GM has a holiday that Ryder doesn't honor. They give you other options but should mirror their policy to their customers!

Vacation time must be approved in advance (quite a bit). You fight for vacation days among 4-5 other supervisors. I started after the beginning of the year so everyone had already taken all of the good dates.

YOU WILL NOT GET 1 DAY OF ACCRUED VACATION TIME UNTIL 1 YEAR 1 DAY its starts to accrue. You get screwed out of any vacation time. 2 years to get what you should of had at year 1.

It takes 5 years before you can start to incur more vacation time to your initial 2 weeks. Also it use it or lose it and nothing carries over in a calendar year. Unfortunately Ryder frowns upon takeing sicks days or vacations so if you do have a extra time before the end of the year be sure to use it!!!
