Vacation & Paid Time Off

It is standard 2 weeks at first then get longer after years of service. They will make you take time off if your time available for vacation gets to be too many hours that they have to pay it out.

Do not qualify until working high enough hours per week for enough months

During the time I worked or Target, I never ran out of Vacation/PTO. Several more senior workers actually had to take time off at intervals because they were aproaching their maximum allowances. Target rolls forward a given year's unused Vacation, so there is no mass-rush to use up vacation time at year's end approaches.

The worst thing about paid vacation at Target is that there is none, if you are one of the lowly wage earners there. However, you can request time off whenever you need, as long as you do it a few weeks in advance or get someone to cover the shift.

You don't start accruing till a year or two in. And then it's not very much, maybe an hour and a half per pay period (bi-weekly)

They have a paid time off

Vacation and personal holidays are generous.

The benefits package is great.

You start to accumulate vacation/paid time off only after you make one year in the company. Plan a year and a half with out vacation.
