You are given 6 floating holidays at the beginning of the year that can be used like regular PTO

HSA should be allowed on ANY plan not just the lowest one. Why cant I have an HSA to allow me to save for medical expenses and still pay for the highest medical coverage?

Horrible package. Insurance rates go up every year for less coverage. No roll over vacation, no sick days. Poor 401k plan.

The benefits are average for a company this size.

I would say the benefits were a bit above average for the tech industry. A reasonable number of PTO days and health benefits were through Cigna which my family was happy with. Also had an indirect benefit of occasional work from home days which added value.

No unused PTO is paid out at separation unless you happen to work in a state that mandates it. PTO has no rollover from year, so the entire company must use all hours (accumulated daily), by year end. The effect is that all engineers must take PTO at the end of the year or lose it. Some are inevitably denied taking it and support is painfully thin at the end of the year way over tasking the remaining engineers. A horrible way to provide great customer service IMO.

No PTO hours carry over to the next year and they do not pay the unused balance on separation. A horrible message to the employees and worse for customer support as it causes a glut of pto requests at the end of the year and leaves little to no staff available to provide the great customer support the company likes to talk about. Very short sighted I M O. WALK your talk.
