Best thing about the benefits of the US Army is the GI Bill.

The military has, possibly, the best benefits package around. You get health insurance, life insurance, housing (allowance or on post), and dental. You also get smaller perks like gyms, libraries, legal services, parking, and tax services.

The Army and the military all in all take care of there own 100%. There is no other place that offers what the US Army can do to take care of Soldiers. The system is moving toward increasing efficiency and is always looking for ways to improve in on-post health care providing and with manditory skills and training.

The benefits in the US Military are amazing if you use them. Education is paid while serving and once you complete your duties. 30 days leave is wonderful, medical care is average as well as dental care. Life insurance and pay are great.

Best is that the overall benefits package is unmatched by any other organization. There are so many "little thing" that unless you look into what is really available you may not ever know. Worst is that customer service in utilizing those benefits can be subpar.

Tricare, BAH, Family Seperation, Hazard pay, SGLI, GI bill/Post 9/11, ACAP,

The healthcare and benefits are decent considering you can get seen easily but the doctors mostly tell you that your ok there's nothing wrong... Takes about 4 or 5 times of being seen for the same issue to get any real analysis done.

There is nothing bad about the benefits packaged you'll get in the military, you'll never find another like it.
