Good training, but experience on the street is the best

The post office have been around a very long time and I k ow it use to be all men that work there but it’s unbelievable they don’t offer maternity leave.

It exists depending on what type of position you take.

the worst part of the training was that individual trainers had poor training themselves, and most of them could not agree on processes and regulations.

All employees received OJT at USPS

They give you plenty of time to learn the job. Training goes in stages. On the job training. Classroom training. LLV driving test. Best part it's all paid training.

On the job training is a joke and you will get yelled at for not performing despite that.

My own personal job training was good, my supervisors took time to really show me how to get my routine down, everybody doesn't get that but I did. I appreciated that. Ultimately you have to get into your own groove once you get everything down and again it wasn't the job for me I did prove to myself I could get out there and do it.

It's more of a "All the things you can get fired for" exercise. On the street training needs to be longer that it is.
