On the job training but it’s changed from 40 hours on the job to 24 hours, class room training can be far away

Abysmal at teaching people how to succeed at their job.

There is technically an RCA Academy, which includes a driving academy. A standard method is taught, and then new RCAs are exposed to many different techniques used by fellow RCA's and Regular Carriers alike. time spent shadowing others is very helpful. One ride-along with a Regular Carrier (RA) is standard; however, the RA that was tasked with training me simply refused to accomodate this. As a result, I never actually went out "on the street" to service a route by first watching and delivering with a career letter carrier. Mind you, there are lots of ways to make mistakes, especially if your mail is out of order, or you deliver out of order by accident. I had to do a very confusing, poorly-maintained route all by myself, and definitely struggled.
