Job Training

They "train" you 3 days and expect you to understand every acronym, scan, scheme.

Much is on the job with minimal supervision

The overall training program is a 1-yr program with the intent of ensuring you know mail flow inside and out. The goal for OIEs is to become company leadership, which is very evident throughout the training process.

They make you travel 2 hours away for training for 3 days.

This really depends on the quality of your O.J.I.[trainer]...had my O.J.I. forget to tell me some little things, not show me things properly since he had to rush to get his job done unless I asked him on the spot how to do it clearly. As I stated before...DO NOT SIGN/INITIAL THAT AREA OF TRAINING IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE DOING IT YOURSELF.

Most of the time you get it when you start any job your put in

When I started it was 3 days out with another carrier then you are on your own. OJT from there on out.

I was trained by a pretty good worker.. She allowed me to do the work the first day after watching her a while and after about 2 days I was thrown out to do it myself. I was fine with that, but if you are not a fast learner the job isn't for you, they Dont offer additional training

All videos and power points. Very boring but you must sit through a ll of it. There are no tests. Driver training is just driving the trucks around a course then hitting the road for a few hours.
