Not enough formal training is given, and for what is given, not enough refresher training offered. Most training provided is the self-study variety, and this, in my opinion, is not the most effective way to engage.

The best thing about working for the post office is the pay. Your heard work will not be appreciated. Bad attitudes all around too!

Because the center handles benefits for the entire franchise and is governed by Office of Personnel Standards, training is extensive.

A rural carrier job is a difficult job to properly train for. It is the type of job that you must do it to figure out what works best for you. It will be extremely frustrating at first and overwhelming but it does get easier with time.

Training is their if they choose to send people to it or take time out to execute the in house training. Basically there was an organized structure that was there that has disappeared after going from an all male facility to having both genders.

not yet started the training but most of the other employees said it was good
