VSP Vision benefits

Ironically, the vision benefit is not fitting of being an employee. It used to be much better and has been reduce where the out of pocket expense is 300% more than it used to be. Also, the retirement age requirement. If you don't make 55, doesn't matter how many years of service you have.

Benefit package is pretty good

Great benefits provided by an employee focused organization.

The benefits at VSP Global are great for many different levels. From healthcare to retirement, all in between are great for the employees.

Terrible Benefits. VSP Global does not offer a PPO or HMO. The employees are forced to use an HSA spending account or an FSA spending account. Additionally, you have to pay at least $700 up front before your benefits kick in. For families with children, just starting a job, this could be extremely tough to do. Would not recommend this company if you're looking for decent medical benefits. 401K contribution can not be used until you have been with the company for at least 5 years.

Great 401(k) match percentage. Multiple, affordable health care package options. Number of paid holidays could be a little better.

VSP has a very good profit sharing program, comprehensive benefits package, and wellness program that offers tools for employees to improve their health and balance life and work
