I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Article in Apr 2021
Interview
It was a really quick process. I had an hour interview with the Engineering Manager then a 2 hour technical with the team. At every stage of the interview, the feedback was sent promptly. In all, the entire process took 3 weeks but only because my current employment situation at the time was going through crunch so I did not have enough time to interview.

Interview
The interview was for an intermediate level position, but they asked the type of questions that you would expect for a junior position. Questions that we all understand the answer to but have the forgotten the exact definition of as we have been out of school for so long. Talking in generalities wasn't good enough. If you couldn't remember the exact definition of concept X from your 3rd year CS class, they got annoyed.
There were very few questions about software development in general. The types of questions they focused on were very specific to their line of business. Those are fair questions, but they couldn't see how someone with experience outside of that domain could still be an asset to their team.
