The process is very ad hoc and took over three months, during which time there were several pushouts. For a long time they weren't sure which of the two roles they were interviewing me for and as a results questions popped up that I wasn't prepared for. Onsite interviews were canceled at the last minute and moved online. On one interview, I was informed while I was logged in (when I reached out to the recruiter) that the interviewer couldn't make it. They use something called blind interview (not sure what it means) but one interviewer can upend the feedback pretty much was my experience (like a veto). The interview questions are very generic on past experience only. They were nice to reach back out to let me know that I wasn't selected but then dropped a surprise that I had overall positive feedback and would be considered for new roles as soon as they open up. I love the work they are doing, so I did reach back out when a position opened, but there was complete radio silence. I think they are looking for people who have done precisely the same work at other semiconductor firms like Intel, Samsung, AMD, etc., which wasn't very well communicated, I feel.
