First was a phone interview, which was very pleasant. I learned a lot more about the company because I was speaking with a former teacher of their schools who had moved up to HR. I went to a BASIS Hiring event about a month after my phone interview. The Hiring event looks like this. A bunch of students volunteer one of their Saturdays to come in and listen to guest lessons from potential hires. The students fill out surveys and are actually part of the hiring process (How much did you like this person? What did you learn? Did they answer your questions? etc.) This is followed up with a formal interview with the Head of School (Principal) and someone from HR. Overall, it was a great hiring experience.
