Base HQ Executive Assistant interview questions

Their hiring process has multiple steps before getting to an interview including an exam, written assignment, and in person interview. Having worked for over a decade with Executives on high level projects and being one myself, really don’t understand what the company is looking for in new hires. After committing myself to the process for weeks I get a general response notifying me that I am not qualified. Base is looking for people I guess that have EA experience only. Not taking into account transferable skills. They will however offer you a chance to enroll in a $1500 course to take their training an apply again in six months. I don’t know what is worst, being rejected or being rejected, asked to pay $1500 for a course, and possibly still not get the job. Unless you have years of experience as a EA don’t even bother.
