Big Lots Cashier interview questions

The manager of Big Lots sat outside the store for a week handing out applications; I went up to the store one day, received an application and returned it that same day. within 2-3 days I received a phone call to set up an interview. By the end of the week I had an interview, with the assistant manager. The interview was held on the (now) sales floor with 3 people giving interviews at a time. I was given a sheet with 4 questions on it and asked to answer the questions and then the assistant manager asked me to further explain my answers. I was contacted and hired the next day (after the interview).

I filled out an application and returned it the next day by personally giving it to the store manager. He gave me an on the spot interview then asked me if i could start working the following day. He asked basic questions such as why do i want to work for the company, do i have any prior experience, and if hired what times will i be available to work. I had no prior experience but the manager was extremely nice and loved my personality so he was excited to give me a shot. I brought in my required documents the following day at the time i was told and immediately satrted training. It was a great experience, the employees were extremely friendly and helpful and filled me in on everything i needed to know. The interview and overall experience was very poisitive.
