The entire process was extremely professional and straightforward from start to finish.
The first step was a phone screen with a Recruiter. This lasted approximately 45 minutes. She reviewed the job description and duties with me and gauged my interest.
She then reviewed just about every section of my resume. She interspersed resume clarification questions with queries regarding my leadership abilities in various career circumstances. At the conclusion of this portion, she asked me if I would like to proceed and when I answered, "yes," she told me she would call me back later that day to set up a time and place for a face-to-face interview.
She called me back later that Wednesday afternoon and scheduled an on-site interview for that Friday. This process, wherein I interviewed face-to-face with three Managing Directors and one Vice President, lasted approximately 3.5 hours. At the conclusion of this portion, they asked me if I wished to proceed. When I answered, "yes," they told me they would give their feedback to the same Recruiter, who would be in touch that afternoon.
True to form, the Recruiter called me that afternoon and scheduled me for a process known as a "side-by-side," to occur the next Wednesday. When I arrived for this portion, I interviewed with two Directors for approximately one hour. I then sat with a Manager and a Senior Manager for approximately 1.5 hours each. They did ask me interview questions, but their primary focus was showing me the Company's systems, soliciting my questions, and evaluating my character to ensure that there was a cultural fit.
The day after this section concluded, the Recruiter reached back out to me to offer me the position. I accepted, and she sent me, via email, the documents required for background check and drug screening. The drug test was complete within a few days, and the background check took about a week and a half to clear. Once that was done, the recruiter got back into contact with me to schedule my attendance at the next, upcoming New Hire Training class.
