      Application

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Bungie (Bellevue, WA) in Feb 2022

      Interview

After applying through the company website, I was sent an online prescreen form and a NDA. Soon after I was sent a 1-2 week art test. A few days after submitting the test I had a screening interview with a recruiter over the phone. Later that day we scheduled a one-hour video call with the hiring manager for the following week. The day after interviewing with the hiring manager we scheduled the video interview loop. The loop consisted of series of interviews with producers, artists, and designers that lasted the whole day. It concluded with another interview with the hiring manager and then a final check-in with the recruiter. Two days after the interview loop the recruiter called with the details of a job offer.

      Question 1

Can't go into specifics, but there were a variety of questions about your process as an artist, how you collaborate with designers and other artists, how you manage your tasks, the fundamentals of PBR, how to make a space fun to play, how to optimize a scene, how you overcame art/design challenges, and so on.
