I've interviewed a few times over the years. It's not a bad experience. My impression is the recruiters have extremely specific roles to fill and so are looking for people to do those exact roles. I am a flexible developer who has experience doing a wide variety of things and I know I need this variety in my job to thrive. This lack of flexibility in hiring implies that career advancement may also be inflexible and each time I interviewed I backed out due to me not feeling comfortable being shoehorned into something. Next time they ask me for an interview (which like clockwork they do every few years) I plan to explore this more, tho I do have longer-term concerns with some of their business practices so may decline early in the process.
