Bungie turned out to be exactly what I had suspected from both previous comments I'd read here and from my own recent experience. I applied for the Senior Technical Program Manager role in late August 2023 and didn't hear back from them for a month. When they did contact me, the recruiter requested that I complete a prescreen form and sign their NDA. It took another ten days before the recruiter reached out to schedule a screening call, which was then set for the following week. The call was straightforward, with typical questions about my background and my interest in the role. Afterward, they set up a video interview with the hiring manager. However, just a few days later, I received an email informing me that the team had decided to close the position and that my interview was canceled. I bear no grudges since I'm in the process of interviewing with five other companies. However, I won't be considering Bungie for any roles in the future. My advice would be to think twice before considering them; their actions suggest they aren't certain about their hiring needs.
