I had a brief phone screening followed by a Zoom interview a week later with the same recruiter. During the interview, I was evaluated for a different role than the one I originally applied for—one that I don’t have experience in. The recruiter even mentioned that the job would be difficult without prior experience, which made it unclear why I was encouraged to interview for it in the first place. When I asked questions, the answers were very general. She couldn’t specify where I would be working and mentioned that the hiring process takes about four months. Overall, the experience felt confusing and lacked clarity.
