I initially submitted my application back in October and didn’t hear much besides occasional updates saying they were still working through resumes. However, in December, they gave applicants the opportunity to resubmit an updated resume, which I think made a huge difference for me. After I resubmitted, I got contacted about a week later.
From that point, the entire process—from first contact to receiving an offer—took about a month to a month and a half.
The first interview was an HR call, which was behavioral. A few weeks after that, I had a second interview with the hiring manager. That one went more in-depth: there were a few technical questions, but a big focus was walking through my resume(we went through every bullet point). I also shared my screen and pulled up the codebase from one of my past projects, and we dove into that for a bit.
There weren’t any LeetCode-style algorithm questions, but I’d definitely recommend brushing up on programming fundamentals and, most importantly, knowing your resume inside and out.
