I applied online. I interviewed at Carrot Fertility in Jul 2021
Interview
I really enjoyed my interview process, the recruitment team was really responsive and quick to respond to schedule my multiple interviews. This was the first interview process I've been through, where I felt like it was truly a dialogue and each interviewer gave me time to ask questions but get to know me as a person, not just an end producer which can be challenging in the CS/Sales process of interviews.
Each interviewer asked unique questions and I truly felt like they were engaged in their conversations with me.

Question 1
I had four interviews with different members of the CS org total. My final interview was to conduct a mock QBR. Role plays can be intimidating but everyone was super kind and made me feel very comfortable!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Carrot Fertility in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview process is pretty straightforward however the major issue arises on the third round. You’re told to present a QBR or ABR of your choosing. My biggest issue is the interview panel is not inclusive of the hiring manager you’d work under. Next, when you present you have 20 minutes yet encouraged by your recruiter to ask the audience questions and have dialogue. CSM who know anything about qbr or abr know that 20 minutes isn’t feasible along with asking questions. The audience may not know your industry as well making it very awkward to get through the presentation. Standard presentations (ex. A template provided to candidates) should be done for equal comparison. I was also docked for typos (there were not any but rather industry jargon that my interview panel is not familiar with that they deemed a typo) which ultimately I was not made a offer. My #1 advice is to schedule full hour interviews, ensure hiring managers are on the presentation panel and give feedback to the candidate immediately. This is common practice for CSM roles.
