Interview
I went in to the store and filled out an application. The Manager was there and I was able to talk to her briefly. The next day she called and we worked out a time that I could come in for and interview. When I arrived we went to the back and sat at a small table. She asked many questions about my work experience, and my selling techniques and approach. She asked me how i would approach her and how I would sell her the outfit that she was wearing right now. She asked what were my strengths and weaknesses. She asked for a third reference because they needed three, and I had only listed two. At the end of the interview which lasted about 30 minutes, she said that she would like me to meet and interview with theDistrict Manager. The next evening I met with the District Manager. It was more of a friendly chat between friends and not probing questions. This interview lasted about 15 minutes. I felt it went pretty well. The next afternoon, the Manager called and offered me the position.
There were two rounds, one with the SM then one with the DM. I got an offer same day, which happened to be my birthday! It was a great role and I appreciate it

Question 1
My experience with visual merchandizing and my past as a trainer for new employees
Received a phone call asking me to come to the location I applied to on a certain day. I showed up 15 minutes early but was happy to wait until my scheduled time. I waited half an hour past my scheduled time because the DM was 30 minutes late. When she arrived she didn't even apologize, and then rushed me thru the interview. I never heard from them again. Left a very bad impression of that store.
Quick and Easy: chat with SM, then have an even speedier chat with DM on another day. Then they will offer you a position or potentionally just not get back to you, like any other employer.
