Clever Software Engineer interview questions

The interview process was really smooth. A recruiter reached out to me back in January had a phone call with her. Then I got moved on to a behavioral interview with the hiring manager. A lot of tell me about a time questions basically wanting to know how I work with others. Then I moved on to the technical round the question was really easy considering it's the same question that four other people have had on here, so I already knew the solution for it before the interview. After that I got moved on to the onsite. This was the first company I got an onsite for so idk how it compares to others but there was two behaviorals rounds: one about clever values and the other about how you work with a team. The second interviewer I had was very unprepared in my opinion and she had only worked there for two months. Then you have two technical rounds one is system design and the second is networking. And finally you get to speak with the hiring manager again and it's just a time for you to ask him questions. Overall, I had a great experience everyone was very nice and welcoming.

You start with some simple HR screenings, followed by a paired technical coding assessment, and lastly a 4-5 hr virtual onsite where you have 5 more interviews (2 more tech, 2 more hr, 1 wrap up and summary with hiring manager) Paired tech interview was fairly simple. It is more about being able to talk through your process with another engineer and show your coding competency. I am scheduled for the onsite and will update once I finish it, but its a architecture/system's design and a networking tech interviews So far all interviews have been pleasant. Everyone I have encountered have been so kind and helpful to me. They make me feel like they want me to get the job. UPDATE: Onsite interview was great. I felt that the questions were fair and everyone I met was amazing. Waiting to here back if I got the job. They said it will take 3-4 days before I receive a decision. System Design interview was fairly simple. I recommend Grokking the system design interview as a source. They don't even ask you to go as in depth as the two free examples it gives so if you can understand those very well you'll be fine. Networking interview was way simplier than I thought. It actually has nothing to do with actual networks; it was a fairly simple coding/leetcode type question.
