I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Clinical Management Consultants (Austin, TX) in Jul 2020
Interview
For a recruitment firm, the lack of process and follow-through is outstanding. To start, I was contacted by someone at the company, I did not apply. I had a decent first intro call (about 30 minutes). A follow-up interview was scheduled with the person who is launching a new territory for the company in Texas with an office based in Austin. We spent a whole hour on the phone, thorough conversation with solid questions going both ways. After the interview, I was assigned 'homework'. I send back the 'homework within 24 hours and my email goes unacknowledged. I follow up via email 3 days later. My email still ignored. Three days after that, I email the person that originally reached out to me (because maybe something awful has happened to the person I last interviewed with), and that email ALSO goes unanswered. I decide to finally reach out by phone (no answer of course) and I leave a voicemail. Days later, I FINALLY get an email back with 'Thank You but we are not moving forward.' That is all.
The issue is not that the decision was not to move forward, the issue is the LACK of professionalism and common courtesy to reciprocate the respect and timely communication to candidates who commit over 2-3 hours of their time between interviews and 'homework' that is a complete waste of time. Awful time to be caught slipping like this, especially as a recruitment firm.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was a typical day like as a recruiter in your last role?
I had 2 interviews, Marshall mostly wanted me to ask questions about the company and Marisa was super kind. Overall the interview wasn't bad at all, seemed pretty straight forward since it was just a few questions. I think they are mostly judging to see what your character is like.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Clinical Management Consultants (Saint Louis, MO) in Nov 2023
Interview
The initial interview was held via zoom. The follow-up interview was also via zoom. The homework assignment was to write a recruiting ad for a Nursing Manager position for a fictitious position at a hospital. After a follow up email, the company representative never followed through.

Question 1
What are your greatest strengths? Tell me about a time you failed and how did you correct it?
Interview with sales manager and then another interview with top two recruiters. Very basic and casual. Typical conflict/situation questions. Was supposed to interview with the boss but never had the chance, got hired anyways.
