I’m sorry to hear some of the interview reviews here, but I’m actually very glad I didn’t read them beforehand. I had an incredible interview experience and I can see it is due to Connecteam taking the feedback they’ve received here. I was sourced and recruited from an outside agency that stayed involved throughout the whole process for interview prep, feedback, and scheduling. It was the best recruiting experience I’ve been apart in my career. Although the agency and Connecteam are all 5-8 hours ahead, everyone adjusted to my schedule and we had no issues. Everyone had great English. The team is incredibly down to earth but direct and to the point which I appreciate. As far as the actual interview process, I would say it is standard but they kept it more conversational instead of drilling with questions. I also appreciate that interview style because it’s more human and less like a cog in the machine. They really focused on uncovering thought process rather than metrics but I’d come prepared with both. The case study was practical and specifically gives you a time limit that I think is important to adhere to so you can stretch yourself to see if this day-to-day task is a good fit for you. The compensation is fair. They are transparent working at Connecteam is that classic, fast-paced (sometimes things break) tech environment with high expectations. If you like that intensity, they carry that into the interviews. It’s not for everyone, but I’m excited I received an offer and I look forward to starting!
