      Recruiting Coordinator Interview

      Sep 18, 2012
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2012

      Interview

Asked me to come onsite for the "phone screen" part of the interview process. They shared since I lived in the SF bay area they wanted to show me around the office and do the initial interview. A few days after the initial interview, they asked me to come back onsite for a full day of interviews. I was onsite for 5 hrs of interviews. They did feed me lunch, however the day seemed to drag on as most questions were repetitive. Some interviewers seemed unhappy they had to interview and were just spitting out questions to ask without general interest. Since I was interviewing for a recruiting coordinator position, they had a part of the interview process where they left me alone with a computer in a room and they had several "fake emails" that I needed to respond to. One was, asking how to dress for the interview. Another was, I've never been to SF, what types of touristy things do you recommend. etc.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox in Oct 2021

      Interview

Phone screen with the hiring manager followed by a panel onsite. My interview was about 2.5 hours in total, split up between five 30 minute interviews. Not crazy, but longer than others I have heard of.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Seattle, WA

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dropbox (Seattle, WA) in Jun 2019

      Interview

Overall great process and experience. It took about 2 -3 weeks. A recruiter from a staffing agency reached out on Linkedin and we had an informational call, I then had a 45 minute interview with a recruiting manager - was very straightforward and more of a conversation. Next I was brought onsite, given a tour and everyone was extremely welcoming and kind. for Had 3 back to back 30 minute interviews - the last one included a scheduling exercise and situational questions. All easy and very applicable to the RC role.
