Erie Home Sales Representative interview questions

Friendly greeting at the door, interview started on time. Sales manager was very friendly and explained all aspects of the job in depth. Sales manager had my resume printed out so I did not have to bring one. Initial Interview lasted about 40 mins and then I was invited to a second interview upon conclusion.

I received two calls from separate recruiters the same day of my application. They both gave me the same amazing numbers- but after the first I did quick math I found they are wildly inaccurate, clearly wrong. I was quoted an avg of 3 appointments a day, avg 40% closing ratio, avg 9-13% commission, avg $25K jobs. That adds up to...$702K(low-end) a year! But by their own admission the average rookie makes $75K a year...which are these numbers are correct? I confronted the second recruiter, he confirmed he was given the same numbers, but couldn't reconcile them, got flustered and hung up. I don't doubt they have successful sales reps, but I also expect they churn and burn through 95% percent of the gullible candidates that go to their "classroom style" interviews- and since it's straight commission it costs them almost nothing.
