I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at First Tech Federal Credit Union in Jun 2019
Interview
A few phone calls and a lengthy "assessment" which included a bizarre math section for a job that I understood would be mainly regulatory in nature. Set up another interview several weeks out; ultimately accepted another position.
The oddest part, though, was when I let them know I had accepted another position. I never received a response, or heard anything back - not a confirmation, or a follow up to ensure cancellation of the next interview - nothing. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I found it a very strange response in the face of common courtesy.

Explain a time when you encountered a difficult professional situation and how did you handle.
The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at First Tech Federal Credit Union (Hillsboro, OR)
Interview
Applied for the position. One week later received a request have a phone screen. Phone screen was on Monday with the hiring manager for the role. They advised they would follow up no later than Wednesday and let all interviewed candidates know if they were moving on or not. I have followed up a few times without response and it has been a month. After the screening it’s a fairly easy yes or no and confirming you’re going to follow up and never doing it doesn’t paint a good picture of company. First Tech should remember that your customers might also be applicants.
Immediately following the phone screen you’re requested to take an aptitude test and submit to a background check with credit screening.
- lack of follow up.
