I was excited to get a call from Floor and Decor store in Jacksonville Florida, near Town Center for an interview. Unfortunately the inability to actually get an interview appt scheduled and speak to the person that initially called me to schedule the appt was frustrating. I missed the first call from the staff member so called back to speak to her around 5 PM. She had already left for the day and left a message with a staff member to have her call me back. After that I called multiple times, left a VM and messages with staff to get a scheduled appt. Finally I was able to speak to someone to schedule an appt and was told to come in at 5:30 on a Tuesday. I was not free then but said later after 6 or 5:30 any other day that week but staff said my boss can only do it then. I thanked him and advised I would have to decline the opportunity. Why make it so difficult to get an interview and why so many messages left with no response back? That was enough of a sign that this may not be a good fit for me. Maybe the lack of professionalism was a clue for me. Was so excited to join the team too. Guess not.
