Had a phone screening with HR. Talked through the job details and specifics. Met with executive over the phone to discuss the role and ask specific questions not answered during my initial call. Drove into the office to meet with executive in person. Met with members of the immediate team I would be running. Met with cross departmental teammates as well. Continued with more interviews a couple of weeks later, meeting with another exec in the store to discuss how the store operates. Overall, spent FOUR MONTHS interviewing. I didn't get the job but I only found that out because I saw someone update their profile on LinkedIn for the role I was interviewing for. No one from HR bothered to follow up with me or inform me that I was no longer in the running. So thankful I didn't get hired by this place.
