Interview
After a few video conferencing I was called for a campus visit, presentation and interview. A very comfortable and professional ambiance as one can expect from Fraunhofer. The selection for the interview was rather complicated involving a lot of subtle tests on proposal preparation, managerial skills like collaboration set up etc.

Question 1
I presented my work for 30 minutes. Following which a company introduction was made. An in-depth comfortable question answer session involving technical, HR, managerial and PR domains. This was followed by a visit to the IPMS exhibition room. A lab walk through was arranged by the group manager following the exhibition visit where I met with future colleagues. The interview ended with a formal see off with the manager and his higher official.

Das Gespräch war sehr ausführlich, interessant, lange und fair. Die Labore, für die ich mich beworben habe, wurden mir sehr detailliert gezeigt und erklärt. Zwei Führungskräfte haben sich viel Zeit genommen.
Die Fragen sind sinnvoll und der gesamte Prozess dauert nicht zu lange. Die Fragen decken eine Mischung aus technischen Themen und allgemeinen Teamwork-Themen ab. Die Kandidaten haben die Möglichkeit, eigene Fragen zu stellen.
