Fairly standard. Phone screening with HR, then manager, then a culture fit. No questions out of the ordinary and the process was straightforward with good communication. Overall not too painful of an experience.

Question 1
Describe experience handling the mortgage origination process.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Freedom Mortgage in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process started with an introductory call from the recruiter to then a different HR representative on a different day and finally with the VP of sales. The interviews itself were not difficult, it was really standard questions but on the last round the VP did not seem to have an understanding of what Work/Life balance means or is. I understand the industry is hectic and the workload might be demanding, however the responses did not seem convincing as the VP seemed uninterested on that topic. After all the interviews they closed out the posting and not hired anyone.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Freedom Mortgage in Apr 2022
Interview
It was short, and has a 2 week process between different managers as well as a 30 minute interview. They contacted me through LinkedIn . Very nice individuals and was a relaxed interview.
