The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Freshworks (Round Rock, TX)
Interview
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a recruiter. The recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn, and mentioned how she was “impressed with my background”. I thought it would be a good idea to connect to head about the company, culture and job. She was late to the interview and seemed like she didn’t even know what my resume offered. She was unprofessional and rude, I mentioned how I was interested to hear about the job and company and she acted shocked that I wanted to hear about the company like it was an odd question. Her touch was rude, she didn’t answer any of my questions and she ended the call in 5 minutes since I was asking about the company culture and job. It seemed like she didn’t care to know about me but more focused on what I knew about the company. May I remind you she reached out to me. I believe a recruiters job is to educate people on the culture, job and opportunities. Based on this experience I will never apply based on how rude and unprofessional she was. I’ve never experienced that in Austin, TX.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The main thing they focused on was my understanding of the product. They asked a lot of scenario based questions to assess my analytical thinking and how well I could apply the product to solve customer problems.
Pitch a product. Tell me about yourself. Digging in resume. Write an email. Situational and Behavioural case studies. Lot of questions when pitching the product like checking negotiation skills. Pressure interview on how we handle things well.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Freshworks (Paris) in Jun 2025
Interview
The recruitment process was good and well-managed, with several stages (Recruitment, Hiring manager, Country leader, SVP of) and ending with a final panel interview following by a great discussion with the HR Business Partner.
What stood out most was the strong human approach throughout the process, especially in the final round, where we discussed topics beyond just business. I appreciated the quick and useful feedback after each stage.
Expectations were clearly explained from the beginning, and the varied professional backgrounds of the interviewers gave me a clear idea of the role and the company culture. The team interactions and work environment made my experience better.
I also contacted several current employees to hear their opinions. They were open, honest, and very helpful.
The whole process took around two to three months and was extremely well-organized by the recruitment team. I highly recommend this recruitment experience.
