Scenario 1:
I got a call from a HR , it was during my office hours. As I was not able to answer it during that time. She asked me for a convenient time to talk, I told to call me between 1.30 to 2.00, I never received a call.
The next day, I called them up. A lady picked up the call and I told "I got a call from a HR, she told she'll call me by yesterday 2 pm, but I haven't received the call."
She asked for the name of the HR , I told "I couldn't remember her name , btw my name is ____ ". She replied "We will check and get back to you"
I haven't received any calls or mail from them for next 2 months. High level of professionalism indeed (Sarcasm).
Scenario 2:
Suddenly one day, I was contacted by a female HR through linkedin, she asked my profile for SDET position.
The next day I was in my office, in a meeting, due to some circumstances I couldn't able to pick up call, The next day I got a call early 9.45, I was travelling to my office in bike so I couldn't pick up the call. Again I got a call afternoon on the same day, as I was in a discussion at office, I couldn't pick up. I called them back immediately after 15 mins, the phone was kept ringing, no one picked the call.
I haven't received any mail or call from then after that. I was hoping for a mail.
That was the moment my thoughts and hopes to this company (freshdesk) has became negative. Most irritating experience in my life. I'm not sure from where they have hired these kind of unethical HR people.
Dear HR of freshdesk (whoever tried to contact me) I have few things for you.
1. If a candidate couldn't pick the call, send him a mail.
2. Ask him the convenient time to for the discussion, let him acknowledge to the mail
3. Make a call to him as per the schedule in mail.
4. If you don't have time to write a 1 min mail? Then why the hell you are appointed as HR to recruit candidates
1. You are calling a candidate, asking for convenient his time to speak
2. When candidate tells his convenient time, you people never call him back, just ignoring him. But the candidate was hoping and waiting for your call. (which literally a shame for you right? )
Well, this experience made me to ignore this company. All my hope and interest on this company has been lost. I was hoping that freshdesk is an extremely professional company in making worldclass product.
But they are hiring extremely medicore HR people. Imagine if I had to work along with these kind of unethical HR people. And one of the irritating experience in my career.
PS: I know the name the HR, I never gonna approach this company again in future.
