Interview
Getting into GameStop if very difficult if you dont know someone. The best time to get hired is in October for Seasonal work. Usually if you are a regular customer you have an advantage. For an interview you will be called by the store manager and scheduled an interviewing time. The interviewer will ask you questions from a form provided by GameStop, and you will probably talk for a little while and have a popularity contest and depending on how well you do with that, you will be offered a job.
Very simple and easy going. First was a group interview and then an official secondary interview at the store. Everything was communicated very well and all questions were relevant to experience needed.
I was asked several behavioural questions, to determine my suitability for working in a retail environment. The focus was on my ability to learn and understand the store rules, as well as be able to handle customer needs. Very little was asked about video games.
