Delivered application in-person, received a call for an interview after three to four weeks. Arrived five minutes early, manager kept me waiting while he played a video game on one of the test systems. Somewhat awkward interview in the back storage area, as the manager read off a sheet of questions. Most questions were of the generic retail sort, but many repeated themselves and didn't make sense for the position. My interviewer kept getting distracted by his cell phone, sometimes forgoing writing down my answers to check who was calling.
Interview went well regardless, but I never received a call back. Checked in a week later to show interest, and the employee that answered the phone informed me that the manager had hired his cousin.

Applied online and then got a call to schedule interview. She asked me about what games I like, consoles I have, etc...Then she went over how strict the job is alongside the pay rate and I, for some reason, still said I wanted to work there.
