Interview
I skipped the interview because I was a regular customer before an employee and eventually became the greatest asset to the Fresh Meadows location. I knew way more than enough to be kept on staff after the holiday year in which I was hired.
The paperwork itself is like most other jobs a few years ago. A huge packet of forms and information about the company, it's rules, benefits, etc.

Since I didn't go through the interview process, I didn't have any difficult or unexpected questions.
Very simple and easy going. First was a group interview and then an official secondary interview at the store. Everything was communicated very well and all questions were relevant to experience needed.
I was asked several behavioural questions, to determine my suitability for working in a retail environment. The focus was on my ability to learn and understand the store rules, as well as be able to handle customer needs. Very little was asked about video games.
