Went to a job fair hiring store managers/assistant store managers/regular employees. Wasn't asked too many questions, got a call back for a group interview. I thought it went very well and I stood out from everyone, only to find out at the end they were never hiring for assistant managers. I don't understand putting that on the job fair sign, but they did. Only hiring for seasonal part time.

Easy interview, looks for retail experience, dealing with positive/negative customer situations, asks for favorite game and why. Looks for good personality, positive customer service, and problem solving capabilities. Asks what situations you've dealt with where you ran into a problem and had to solve it. Asks you to pitch your favorite game, and why you should buy it.
Ask me what type of games I play. Typical behavioral stuff. We also talked about GameStop stocks and the diamond hands meme. All in all I think the interview was fun.
