The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GameStop (Manteca, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
Very straight forward. Mostly asking if you know your way around the merchandise and that you actually know what your talking about but also looking for real customer service and retail skills. My store was awesome but the corporates side of things left employees overworked, underpaid and just hanging in there

Easily hired on the spot, only asked about 2 or 3 questions. Said I was fully qualified. But depending on the location and how desperate they are for people they can be somewhat picky but it’s honestly not too bad.
It was very easy they just asked me my knowedge of video game consoles and my schedule. It was not much to it, I did the interview standing up and it lasted 5 minutes and I got hired.
