The recruiter was just absolutely rude. When she called me, she immediately said, you are overqualified and was very combative. I tried to explain my situation to her, but she talked over me. She wanted to know my salary expectations and I told her and she said the person hiring will not interview you because he only wants to pay 55k. Not even sure why this recruiter called me. Recruiters need to let hiring managers do the work if they don't know what they are talking about. She could not even identify key questions about this role.
