I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at GameStop in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied online, and about a month later I received a call from the district manager asking if I was still interested. So I went in and interviewed with one of the store managers in my city. He asked pretty basic questions and the whole interview was very casual and friendly. It was really just a conversation about my experience in sales and what I was looking for in a job and why I felt I'd make a good fit for the position. He told me someone would probably be in contact with me shortly to schedule another interview.
About a week later I was scheduled for my second interview at a different store with a different manager. He asked how I felt my other interview went, and reiterated a lot of the same information I received in the previous interview. He asked me similar questions, but focused more on my experience as a manger, i.e. hiring practices, delegation, disciplinary action, etc. Afterwards he said they should know within a week.
I received a call about 6 days later offering me a supervisor position, as there was no assistant manager position available, but was assured that they would move me up as quickly as possible after the holiday season.

Interview
Had a quick phone interview to ask what my salary expectation where, and them stating I was asking too high, even though in the ad I was asking for the higher price they had. They informed me I would get the lower price, and asked me to arrive in person for an interview the next day. They proceed to cancel 2 hours before my interview when I was already on they way (transit).

Question 1
Personality questions regarding how you can motivate an employee to sell pro memberships and warranties on physical games nobody is buying
Very easy and straightforward if you’re into video games and technology. Normal questions aimed towards knowledge of that exact stuff. Manager most likely won’t seem too interested lol. It was still an easy interview though.
