It took about 2 months to get hired. They accidentally lost my application because so many people apply to GameStop every day. I had to make two applications by the end of it all. The interview process took about 2 hours as well.

What was your worst customer service situation? How did you handle the problem?
Are you able to work holiday's? Are you willing to come in on short notice? What is your knowledge on selling? What type of video game system do you know the best?
Very simple and easy going. First was a group interview and then an official secondary interview at the store. Everything was communicated very well and all questions were relevant to experience needed.
I was asked several behavioural questions, to determine my suitability for working in a retail environment. The focus was on my ability to learn and understand the store rules, as well as be able to handle customer needs. Very little was asked about video games.
