Interview
Before interviewing, I was given several opportunities to spend time with the Product and Engineering teams to learn more about the role and product development culture at Intercom. Everyone was very open and insightful.
Interviewing first took the form of a written homework exercise, putting together a point of view on the market applicable to the role I was applying for.
After that, I was invited into the office for a day. This consisted of a presentation covering three areas (the kind of PM I am, situational examples of my experience, and a hypothetical scenario). This was followed by one to one interviews, again digging into experience, with people from Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

Initial round with recruiter, One round with hiring manager, case submission, loop (back to back) interviews with three different product leads including VP. The HR was pretty responsive and helpful in making me understand the entire process, and what types of questions will be asked
HR contacted me on LinkedIn and asked me to apply for the role. I wanted to know more about it.
I was asked if I wanted to apply for the Senior Product Manager role. One hour after my application, I was rejected.

Interview
Probably the most random interview process I’ve seen. I applied for a role at Intercom via their website. A person got in touch for a 30 mins screening. They talked to me about a different role from the one that I applied for and asked some very basic, generic behavioural questions. I got a rejection email after a day, for a different role from the one I applied for. No feedback offered. There is no way in the 15 minutes we talked about my experience I said anything remotely controversial. Probably just pumping up the interview metrics and wasting candidates time.
